So there has been tons of news out there lately. Everything from two juvenile life without parole cases (out of Florida) that the U.S. Supreme Court had just heard (I worked on a related document this summer) to Veterans' Day services. And of course, a blast from the past.
It was the 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street yesterday and they talked about it on the news. My mom's reaction when she heard that: "Oh, that should be about right. Alex is almost 30!" I was sitting right next to her. My response? "WHAT?!? DON'T EVER SAY THAT AGAIN!"
To say the least, I freaked out.
